Things I Want: Bullet Express
(image from bulletexpress.com)
I’m a sucker for infomercials sometimes. Growing up I was obsessed with Ron Popeil and all of his kitchen inventions. I’ve never ordered anything but will watch the same infomercial over and over again for years.
The other day I stumbled upon this infomercial for the Bullet Express by the same people that make the Magic Bullet. I was riveted! Riveted I tell you.
They call it the “8 Minute Meal Machine” because you can make an entire family dinner in 8 minutes. Not including cooking of course but it accounts for all of the prep. In the infomercial they really throw down. They make toppings for nachos, a turkey meatloaf, pizza toppings even a cheesecake, crust and all!
It’s like a food processor and blender etc all in one. ANNNNND it has a spout so you can chop directly into a bowl.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
With the special introductory offer you get an attachment to make this thing a juicer. I kid you not. They were juicing watermelons with the rind on. The Bullet Express is NO JOKE.
Okay, I know it sounds like I’m shilling for these folks, but I’m not. I just saw the infomercial and I’m obsessed. This is the first time that I’ve wanted to pick up the phone and order something. I kind of believe in this product because I have a bunch of friends who have the Magic Bullet and LOVE it.
Have you tried the Bullet Express? Would love to hear feedback.
For now I will just dream about it…

My Amazon Store
Thank goodness! I’m not the only one who obsesses over these two Bullet products. I saw this new Bullet Express a couple weeks ago and I watch the infomercial every time I happen by one.
I can’t help it. I wonder if there’s some sort of subliminal hypnosis or messages in these commercials. It’s just amazing and yet, like you, I’ve yet to order either product. I always plan to but never do. Odd, isn’t it?
I don’t even like the actors – cheesy set-up, acting, etc. – but the product rocks. Hmm… wonder if they work…
“”I bought this product a couple months ago.
and I love it! Ive never had any problems with it.
its perfect for slicing up potatoes in perfect slices for scalloped potatoes. you turn the blade over and you can grate your cheese in seconds flat.
ive sliced tomatoes, eggs, any thing you can think of and it comes out in perfect slices.
the juicer attachment works great too. I aready have a breville juicer. and the express juicer is just as good.
Im giving this product a 4 star only because everything always has room for improvement.
but overall i would definetly recommend this to everyone I know!””
I now only have this and the Magic Bullet in my kitchen…YOU DON’T NEED ANYTHING ELSE!!!
I bought this a few days ago on ebay but didn’t receive the cookbook or the manual. Is there any way you can send me a copy of those by email? I will greatly appreciate. I have been in love with this product from the first time I saw the commercials, but now that I have it, will need some help with the recipes. Thanks.
hi there, i just purchased the bullet express and am in two minds, can anyone help with additional recipes … I’m having the most trouble with having to swap and change attachments all the time … and yesterday U was making a meatloaf and it didn’t blend the ingredients at all … it mashed the meat, but I had mushrooms and bacon in there and it didn’t blend them at all … am I using it wrong ?? any help would be greatly appreciated … cheers, Elsa x
I got mine for christmas. I used it once and was so in love with it. I went to use it again to make a meat loaf on the commercial. Half way thru mixing ingredients the motor stopped working. It never again worked and i followed all instuctions perfectly.. I bought mine from a store here so thank full i was abel to get full money refund. I have heard and read that this is quite common. Very sad for it would have been a life saver if it worked but guess not . Buyer beware.
I ordered one. It hasn’t arrived yet. I let you know how I like it.
please do!
So my bullet express 8 minute meal machine arrived. On time. Well packaged. Easy to set up. I love it. I made some juice with it and it works just as well as an 80 dollar juicer that I had bought and returned to kohls after seeing this. I did some cheese shredding and carrot and pepper and onion slicing with it. It works great but does tend to shoot out all over the kitchen. lol Just have a large bowl tilted under the spout and it’s fine. My favorite thing is the meal mixer. It’s basically a food chopper and mixer combined. I love mixing in a coverd bowl. Very tidy and does an excellent job. I made the cheesecake from the recipe booklet. It is awesome. Looks and tastes just as good as any cheesecake I’ve ever bought. It’s pretty quiet. Another great thing is when you want to pour your ingredients out of the mixing bowl the blade stays put. It comes with a blade removal tool that acts like a lever to put the blade off the post. Once again really easy to figure out. I’d rather have to pry the plade off than have it fall off into my food. The moter looks feels and sounds pretty sturdy. The plastic bowl do seem a little on the flimsy side. I just run them through the rinse cyle of my dishwasher. Hand wipe and put away. I don’t know how long they would last putting them through a regualar cyle all the time. I give this a big thumbs up. Very glad I bought it. Hope it lasts now. I’ll posts again if I have any problems.
I meant to type. I’ll let you know how I like it. LOL
thanks for your review!
I’ve been using my bullet 8 minute meal machine for a while now. It is very good at making the recipes in the book. It’s not so good at cookie making. I tried creaming butter and sugar in it the other day and ended up transferring the whole mess to a regular mixing bowl and using my electric mixer to finish the job.
So far I have made:
apple pie, cheesecake with raspberry sauce, pancakes, pizza dough, fruit salad, potato puree, and some orange juice.
Can you send me the apple pie recipe? Thanks. Judy
O.K. Another thing that this machine will not do: It will not whip egg whites. I tried. So I’m glad I didn’t toss my old hand mixer. So really it only replaces my juicer and food processor. I’m going to try some things that I do in the blender today and see if I can toss the blender out. It claims to crush ice. I willl report back on this attempt.
I also have 2 recipes that I occasionally make in the blender. Orange Julius and Yoohoo choc drink. I’m curious to see how it does.
Can you email me a copy of the cookbook?, I received my bullet express but it comes with NO manual or cookbook. Thanks.
I ordered one, but I am not sure if they received it as my
computer shut down. Now I cannot get them on the phone
because it is always busy. How can I follow up on this order
and how long does it take for them to ship one of these
items to me.
You should try calling customer service: . They also have an email form on their site.
Please let me know how you like it once you order it!
Lilly,
I know you tried to order this product several months ago, but if you or anyone else is looking for a customer service number that is not actually busy all of the time (I have tried calling for a week, and the line is always busy), call . Someone actually answers at this number. I found the working number on http://www.ripoffreport.com, not the website for Bullet Express.
FYI, the product smoked on the first use of trying to chop boiled potatoes. They also will not refund the shipping and handling that you originally paid. Plus you have to pay to ship it back to them. Definitely a rip off. I’m trying to figure out how to get the $26.00 shipping/handling (approximately) refunded since that seems like stealing to me. . . I paid it in the first place.
I have the original Magic Bullet, which is a great little blender. It is not a rip off. In fact, it took 5 years for the first one to break, and I just got my second one. Can’t wait until I can afford the Express! Most companies expect you to pay to return and will not refund S&H; in fact, all refund claims always say “Except S&H”. Guess you need to only shop in brick and mortar stores.
I ordered it. I asked my sons to contribute towards the Express as my birthday presents! (grin) I made grapefruit juice – delicious. I have made smoothies. Now I want to make a lot more things. I may buy a pizza crust then add the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, etc. (I have a lot of tomatoes in the garden, I could make gazpacho (sp?))
I wish now I had ordered the big cookbook when I ordered the express. It was a good price, but I was feeling that I had spent too much money already. If you order it, get the optional cookbook as well as the one that comes with it.
Susan
Can’t wait to hear how you like it!
I am beyond obsessed with the bullet express. I will watch the infomercial over and over and over. I ordered the magic bullets years ago, and it was the best purchase I have ever made. My friends make fun of me because I have sent them all the link to the website so they can appreciate the glory that is the Bullet Express! I asked one friend to record the infomercial for me, I go to the website periodically, and I watch this @ the gym!!! Do the veggies chop with ease and as shown in the commercial, or is there some resistance? Also does it blend with ease? Even in the infomercial it appears it has trouble at first with the turkey meat loaf. I wish it had more than 500watts of power. I could watch these all day long. I also like the health master emulsifier!!! any cooking gadget!
Please tell me if the machine is any good for making ground pork or ground beef. It seems that it is rather easy to make ground turkey meat on the DVD.
Hi — I don’t have the machine so I’m not too sure about the ground pork and beef. My guess is that if it can do ground turkey then ground beef and pork should be fie.
Good luck!
BEWARE!!! Making a meat loaf with this unit will KILL your good experiences fast!. The motor will over heat & stop & the eggs will cook around the spindle!
Also, BEWARE of their payment plan practices as they will continue to charge you after you request a refund for the junk they sent you, so you will need to cancel your CC acct to stop them from taking more payments! But, I would NEVER pay 100% up front as you will never see a refund from them without taking legal action. A class Action will soon be in the works as I am currently preparing my personal Small Claims suit for the unauthorized charges to one of my CC accts.

GOOD LUCK IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE!
JC
That’s why I planned on purchasing a prepaid Credit Card and putting just the total amount on it. This way they can charge till their hearts are content and not get a dime over what I owe them.
This is easy to resolve. Just get it from Costco or some other stores that sell it. You don’t have to buy it at the site on the infomercial. Costco actually sells it for $20 less than on TV. It comes with everything they mention in the infomercial as well.
I, too, am a sucker for kitchen gadget infomercials (though I’ve only ever ordered Bare Minerals) … I turned on the TV while getting dressed this morning and the Bullet Express infomercial was on. Instantly, I was smitten, and not a wee bit skeptical. It’s not too often I make a purchase without prior research, but today happened to be one of those times. I ordered it plus the lifetime warranty for an extra $6. I figure, if it does all it says, I’m going to be using it often, so I might as well keep it protected. (I only hope I don’t have to pay before they repair/replace it.) Anyhow, mine should be here in about 10 days and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll try to post an update after a few uses.
Unfortunately they will take payments out while you’re waiting for replacement parts or waiting for a refund. I had to close my bank account to make them stop. I’m sorry you ordered it.
This Bullet Express is a rip off from the get go. Mine broke with 2 weeks!! Parts were flying off and it was smoking!! I called and asked for a prepaid shipping label to return it. They said they don’t e-mail that, they mail it. I waited2 weeks and no label. In the meantime they took a payment. My free trial wasn’t even up!! I called because 2 checks bounced due to them taking the money. They e-mailed me the prepaid label (thought they didn’t do that) I took it to the Post Office, which is a drop off place for Fed Ex, they don’t scan it. That was July 18. It has yet to be scanned. I am now out $140.00, the product and they are accusing me of never mailing it. I have filed a complaint with the FTC, the Better Business Bureau and Ripoffreport.com. What a mess! I will NEVER buy anything off a infomercial again!! Don’t do it! These people are theived! I’m on a fixed income. If anyone sees the infomercial, it shows a person putting a WHOLE boneless turkey breast in the meal maker. actually 2 of them. I put chopped, cooked beef in it and it started smoking, and quit working. I not don’t trust anyone. I was ripped off and there is nothing I can do about it.
DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!
Bought one, used it once, could make my humus from one can of chick peas with one can of pitted olives. wouldn’t mix properly.
Sent it back the next day.
Noisy, 400 watt motor is not sufficient, Cumbersome to load and lock and turn on and repeat and repeat and repeat……..
Told the customer service agent on the phone when I got my tracking number for the return it was a piece of junk and to credit my cards
Unfortunately I got ripped off for a total of $67.00 in shipping costs.
I put 2 whole turkey breasts in mine and it ground them up quite nice. I have made the nacho’s, made hummus, used the juicer, etc. maybe you didn’t have the base on right for it to break. I made sure I read the directions carefully. I absoloutely love mine and dont think it’s any kind of rip off
Just so all of you know, Bullet Express and Magic Bullet are TWO DIFFERENT machines!! I don’t know about the Magic Bullet, but do not order the Bullet Express! You will regret it forever!!
Hi all —
There have been some mixed reviews here on The Bullet Express so I figured now would be a good time to re-iterate that I have NO affiliation with the company that makes/sells this machine. I do not own the machine and have never ordered anything from this company. I welcome all views on this machine but please keep in mind that any comments posted here (unless they are by me) do NOT reflect my opinions on either the machine or the company that produces it.
Thanks!
Tonya
Bought it at Costco today. After finally getting all the packaging off, plugged it in and nothing. Costco has a good return policy but still, dead fresh out of the box c’mon! Are the motors that fragile?
it has saftties built in if it is not put together totally the motors won’t go!
Thanks for the reviews guys. I love the idea of a food processor/mixer/juicer all in one and the spout is a great idea, but it looks like they need to work on the quality of the machine or wait for another company to pick up on this design.
Maybe a real company could produce a comparable product that lasts and is backed up by a a reliable replacement and warranty service.
Cuisinart makes a processor that spits food out the side it’s called little pro. I got it 8 years ago I don’t see them in stores anymore, maybe you can get it directly from Cuisinart. it works great and it is nice not to have to empty the processor, I make giant buckets of sauerkraut with mine.
Just got mine and do not have a clue how to use it. I find the instruction booklet hard to understand and wish a video came with it to show how to set it up. Any advice?
Does anyone have the bullett express cheesecake recipe? I gave mine away as a wedding gift to my best friend and would love the recipe.
Hmmmmm… I think your best friend has a copy. Is he/she not willing to share it with you? If not, just post this fact & I will forward a copy to you.
JC ( c:}
Here is a sample from the 101 recipes book, I saw a link to see a page and it just so happened to be the cheesecake.
Good luck!

haha i see it didn’t just post the website with the reply so..
I am so glad that there are other people out there who are obsessed with these infomercials. It looks really cool but since I have the food processor, stand mixer and vita-mix, I won’t be buying one! I can’t help watching this commercial and hoping someone I know will buy one so I can try it out! My dad and I watched this while I visited him last week and we are both VERY curious about this product.
Today, I saw this infomercial for the first time. I too have a vita-mixer, food processor, and stand mixer. Still, I watched the entire infomercial and wanted to purchase one. There has got to be something embedded in the commercial, because while watching it, I kept thinking the food didn’t look that great and the watermelon rind would be impossible to process and yet I still had the urge to purchase the silly thing.
I ordered and tried it out. Its garbage. After 3 weeks it broke and I am not getting much cooperation from them to get it replaced, meanwhile they keep taking payments out of my account. BUYER BEWARE -BEWARE – BEWARE !!!!!!!
Jon,
Bullet Express (BE) will not respond until they are unable to steal more of your $$$!!!… so you MUST CLOSE YOUR CC ACCT to prevent them from taking more payments (or you may block them from making further charges, but your card issuer may charge you for the block). Then you will receive email threats from BE… “NOTICE OF IMPENDING COLLECTION ACTION: YOUR BULLET EXPRESS WITH JUICER ORDER”, & they will also state that they will RED MARK your credit reports if not paid. Your best bet is to close your CC acct (get a new card #), file grievances with the BBB & FTC, & also post your comments on RipoffReport.com. This may wake them up, but I make no promises. They are outright thieves & they should be stopped from selling this junk! Also, DO NOT return the junk before you receive a 100% refund or you will likely never see your $$$, & please don’t fall for their “good faith” BS as it is only a ploy to get you to ship the junk back to them. As this item is “NOT AS ADVERTISED”, I advise not settling for anything less than a 100% refund, & if you ship the junk back before you get refunded, they will not refund your original S/H charges. They sent me two prepaid return labels, but I am holding their junk until I receive 100% refunds on both units. Please scroll up & read my comments, & also comments from my friend Patti. You may also wish to read our BBB, FTC & RipoffReport.com reports. The following is part of my RipoffReport.com file:
WOW… WHAT AN EXPENSIVE JUICER!!!
This item is basically JUNK!
Actually, the Juicer works good, but DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE A MEATLOAF! You will overheat the motor & it will quit before the mixture is 1/2 way mixed (approx 10 one half to one second pulses), and the eggs will cook around the spindle! My friend used hers to make a meatloaf the same night and had the same problem… so THIS UNIT IS OBVIOUSLY TOO WEAK TO PERFORM AT LEAST ONE OF THE MAJOR TASKS IT WAS INTENDED FOR!!!
One of my notes to the company:
Your refusal to provide me with the two RA #’s I requested & also to answer my phone calls has depleted my available time to receive a favorable response before the next SET of charges were to be applied, so I took action & you will NOT be paid another dime on either of these accts.
I hope this helps your cause.
JC
I JUST RECIEVED MINE….I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS,
I’m glad to see this post since I’ve been thinking about getting the Bullet Express. When they make something that can replace my Oster Kitchen Center that gave out last week after giving us TWENTY-THREE YEARS of nothing but wonderful service, I want to buy it.
It looks like Bullet just isn’t that product.
Oster sold out or something, so the Kitchen Center isn’t made anymore. Oh well, there’s always e-bay!
Reg
I’m glad to read these reviews as I seriously thought of purchasing one, but would have to pay shipping and duty to Canada. As to making meatloaf or chopping meat, My Cuisinart processor does that without blowing the motor. If it actually overheats, the motor shuts off to cool down, but works fine after. Had it for 22 years, but the plastic top broke this year. So I’m looking for a new machine. Thought this was the one, but I guess not.
FYI You can purchase the cuisnart plastic tops separately. Mine was 25 years and the plastic top broke also – was able to replace it for $30.
Sorry I am a huge skeptic and I teach my kids to watch this stuff with great cinicism. If you have a DVR, slow down the add so you can catch a few things. Like when they say “As much space as a two slice toaster.” Notice they only show 1/2 the product. Notice when they turn the music in the background on and off. Happy music when they show the bullet and nothing when they dont. These are classic advertising schemes to make you feel happy when you see the product. Folks if you have a DVR and you’re ever watching any informercial play it back a few times and slow things down. Ever scene the slap chop ad. That one is hoot. Watch it in slow motion and look for the little add-in stars on even his teeth. “Ting!” Suckers!
I plan on buying one next Friday. They are on sale at Costco for $99.00 complete with all the attachments and the cookbook. And Costco has a great refund policy, so if it breaks I just carry it to the customer service desk and get my money back.
Thanks so much for telling me that Costco has it. I have had to take some appliances back to Costco before and they return them with no problems and replace if you want. I’m very leary after hearing all the problems, but I really want something like this, so I’m going to Costco to get it and I’m so much more at ease about it now!
it’s not on costco’s website
I got my bullet express, and while using it for the first time as a Juicer, the machine just blew off and fumes started coming out. They do have 30 day money back, but I am loosing S/H which is like 30 bucks. Any suggestions?
I too love infomercials and came across this one today for the first time! I immediately wanted it but decided to do a bit of research on it first. It seems this product is still fairly new, even though the original magic bullet has been around for a while now. I think I may wait for this to come out in stores that offer “as seen on tv” products, as I’m sure it would be easier to return to Target (for example) if it breaks or you have a problem. I’m guessing as with any new product line, there will be problems and kinks that need to be worked out, so I will try to wait patiently… but if I see too many more of those infomercials I might just take the risk. LOL thanks for all the posts on the product, good and bad, as you have just helped me out a bit.
This product is available at Bed Bath and Beyond.
the magic bullet is not the bullet express
no the bullet express is also as i got mine there a few weeks ago
Okay so I figured I would let you all know because it fooled me too. The magic bullet is not made by the same people as the bullet express. If you look magic bullet is made by homeland housewares and the bullet express is made by bullet express llc. Don’t be fooled. the magic bullet is amazing and well designed. However the express might be okay but I have heard some negative things.
Both the Magic Bullet AND Bullet Express are property of Homeland Housewares LLC.
I kindly ask you to show me how you know. Because no where I looked shows them as being connected
I have had my bullet express for about two weeks now and I have tried most of the recipies in the commercial and they do work as promised, at least for me… Before I got my machine, I came to this blog often for updates, so I know that reviews are mixed… I just thought I’d post to say, I love this machine! Maybe the company is reading reviews and working to improve the machine… I don’t know, but even the turkey meat loaf recipie worked wonderfully for me and the motor on my machine hasn’t given a burning smell or blown out.
Is it good /better than kitchen aid?
No, there is a reason that Kithchenaid has been around forever, and the “Bullet Express” company is a limited liability corporation, I have a magic bullet, a kitchenaid mixer, and a KA food processor, guess which one went into the garbage when it couldn’t even make a smoothee?
I have to wonder if everyone who had trouble with the unit did so because the were trying to grind meat? Has anyone had any problems other than that? I’ve got a vitamix that does meat fine, so I wouldn’t be using it for that, but for the basic slicing and chopping and jucing and such. The vitamix is a great juicer, but for somethings (like the pumpkin juice I’m wanting to make) the whole food juicing comes out too thick, so I’m hoping this would do the trick with the pulp removed. I’m just worried now that the pumpkin may be too dense for it as it wasn’t demonstrated.
Also, if you want to do things like egg whites, the Magic Bullet does wonders. Only problem I’ve had with that machine is the little tabs on the side of the cups can break off if you drop them. If you don’t have all three tabs, the machine won’t work, but replacements are easy enough to get on ebay. The ninja blender looks like it solved that problem, but it dosen’t have any shake cups, and we love those!
Hi Drew.
FYI… I was attempting to make my meatloaf using pre-ground beef (hamburger meat).
The infomercial shows them using WHOLE turkey breasts, but notice they don’t show us the complete process? First, they begin mixing the meatloaf & you can see it’s very lumpy. Then they suddenly cut forward to the almost finished mix. They fail to show how the unit starts smoking & then quits working. I wonder how many units they burned out to get to the finished product?
Good luck if you decide to order.
JC ( c:}
i did 2 whole turkey breasts and had no problem whatsoever. but you know, i did read the directions. it ground them extremely well and i made the southwest turkey wraps. I love my express!
Yes, I had trouble with something other than meatloaf. Please see my other post for details.
The Magic Bullet and the Bullet Express are not from the same company. If they were, their websites would be linked, and they would use the same ‘Magic Bullet’ trademark name. ‘From the makers of’ can mean many different things.
I haven’t used either the Magic Bullet or the Bullet Express, but I justed wanted to point out again that they are not from the same company. The phrase ‘from the makers of’ can mean many different things. If the companies were legally related, the websites would be linked, and both would use the more well known Magic Bullet trademark name, instead of the second one using a similar sounding but legally distinct name.
I purchased the magic bullet and was very disappointed. Tried to chop onion and ended up with a combination of mush and chunks. I was so looking forward to making homemade salsa. Tried blending something else and that didn’t work out either. Now I just use it for chopping my can tomatoes for tomato sauce. Pretty expensive for just doing my sauce. I could have saved the money and continued using my manual machine.
As a result, I won’t purchase the bullet express.
Now, I wish I had read all these prior to ordering the Bullet Express. I guess I’ll have to find out for myself. I also ordered the 4 yr warranty. They claim to replace it if it brakes down. Is there another machine that does all that the Bullet Express claims?
I picked my Bullet Express a couple of weeks back. I juiced some carrots & apples, and discovered that the glass has to be tall enough for the spout to sit in, or your counter gets wet. However, it did a great job. I made coleslaw, and discovered that the bowl has to be big or the cabbage goes everywhere. Despite the mess, it did a really great job.
Tonight I was making a banana loaf. I was using both the pulse and the low control intermittantly when the whole thing just stopped and smoke came out of the unit. Disappointed, I finished mixing things in my Kitchen Aid, which did the job efficiently. After a rest, the Bullet worked again, but I guess the idea of mixing cakes & breads….or meatloaf, is out of the question. Definitely a cheap motor.
If the Bullet Express is more powerful than the Magic Bullet, can it blend smoothies also?
If the Bullet Express works any where near like the Magic Bullet, stay far away from it! It is a piece of JUNK! The only way you can get it to crush ice is by adding water. Its pretty much good for nothing!
I just don’t believe any of those infomercials…they are cheesy entertainment at best. You can see the discrepancies in the stuff they put into the machine and when they cut a few seconds later to a finished product. I am not wasting my hard-earned money on junk. When I make meatloaf, it takes me maybe 2 minutes to chop up some onion and garlic, then another 30 seconds to mix up the meat, bread crumbs, eggs, etc…it doesn’t kill me to take about three minutes to make dinner for my family. It would take longer for me to load that machine up (I don’t leave any appliances out on my countertops other than the coffee pot) and get things prepped for it….You would still have to chunk the onion up…why not go the extra mile and just cut it up…extra thirty seconds of chopping. I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer that I wouldn’t trade for the world for mixing batters and doughs, and everything I need to chop I do by hand…I have tried countless food processors that just don’t give me the same quality of slicin’ and dicin’ as these two hands.
Maybe people should take the thirty minutes they used to watch the stupid infomercial and get in the kitchen to prepare a good meal for their family instead of looking for an easy out. Better yet, use that opportunity to get your kids in the kitchen with you and have some quality time teaching them the value of making a healthy meal…teach them about vegetables, the food pyramid, and the value of hard work. I am a VERY busy mom and I manage to do it.
Everyone, see melissa’s post Nov. 2, 2009. A good valuable lesson especially for young mothers and all those cooking for a family, thanks melissa!
I agree about the time for setup and food prep. For the apple pie, notice how the clices had the cores magically removed, presumably before the apples went into the machine. But for me, the big thing about any appliance like that is the cleanup. I’m a bit paranoid about making sure everything is perfectly clean, which can be difficult with blades and chopping discs. And, unlike the “family” in the commercial, I prefer my apple pie without traces of ground turkey, i.e. I’d want to clean it after every step. More likely if I bought the thing I’d only use it for one dish per meal. Or one dish forever, like just salad.
has anyone bought something that slices not dices that works well, i’m skeptical after reading these reviews
I just ordered the Bullet Express. I haven’t tried it yet, but I was offered the option to upgrade the motor and I took it. Has anyone had any experience with the upgraded motor?
I just received my bullet express and I love it! It is a permanent spot on my counter because I use it so much.
Bk,anybody, if you ever try making smoothies, please let me know how they turn out.
the magic bullet blender and the bullet express food processor/juicer are NOT the same machine.
I have the magic bullet blender and it is AWESOME for smoothies. It can go right through frozen fruit or ice no problem. If you don’t blend it long enough you might have a small chunk of fruit or ice but it’s not that big of a deal. Then you can throw the cup and blade piece in the dishwasher and they are ready for next time. I use it primarily for smoothies and shakes.
I saw the infomercial and just loved it. Its a shame that they are marketing it to be from the same creators as the Magic Bullet. Maybe it was just another company that took up the idea, and it really was the creators of the Magic bullet??
I’m sorry to hear that so many ppl also think that the Magic Bullet is crap. I bought mine off ebay (cheapest way at the time) and I have had it for 3 years, and still love it and still use it almost daily! My mother and sister in law both have one too, and love it.
For those, however that posted that you can get the Bullet Express at Costco and Bed Bath and Beyond, thank you VERY MUCH! I would feel safe trying it from there and if there was any problems, to just bring it back, then having to deal with customer service at Bullet Express. Hey maybe it will be on sale for Black Friday?! lol
just got it at costco today the motor won’t even light up. not sure if it’s worth getting another. Bummed!
I am so glad that you all wrote about your experiences of the “Bullet Express”. I was really taken by the infomercials and was going to order it, now I am so glad I waited and read about it. I have the “Magic Bullet” and I just love it. I have had it for a long time and it works great so I thought that the “Bullet Express” would be the same. Why is there not a law against these idiots praying on the public. A suggestion to you all, I get a pre paid Visa with a very low amonunt on it so if they try that BS it won’t last long and they can’t charge you at the bank for stoping payment..Be sure when you return it you keep the tracking number! Even if you have to pay for the UPS or Fedx your self, it will cost less in the long run. I had the same problem with Dish Network when I returned a reviever. They said they never got it and charged me but, with the tracking number I proved them wrong. I wonder how many times they do this to others and get away with it. KEEP YOUR TRACKING NUMBERS..
I have had a Magic Bullet for about 4 years and have not had any problems. We use it for mainly smoothies. Saw the Bullet Express at Costco and wanted to see what others thought of it. Sounds like they need to work on the product. Usually if something doesn’t work well Costco will not have it on the shelf for very long.
A major TV station recently purchased & tested a Bullet Express Meal Machine/Juicer live on the air. They were using hamburger. The unit burned up!!! DOH!
Again… GOOD LUCK if you decide to purchase one, & BETTER LUCK if you try to get refunded for the junk they sell.
I still have yet to receive my refunds… & their foolish, uninformed lawyers (The Law Offices of Robert J Colclough, III) just hit me with a collection notice threating me with legal action & negative reports to the credit bureaus.
I am currently preparing a very tasty “I refuse-to-pay-another-dime-for-this-junk” Certfied letter for them to chew on. I hope they digest information well.

I finally received my Bullet Express yesterday. You would think with what they charge in shipping it wouldn’t take 2 weeks to get to me. Anyway, Meal Maker attachment works great. I was able to slice anything without issue. I tried making the turkey meatloaf and I overheated the unit 4 pulses into it. I ended up digging out the onions and cutting them with a knife and mixing the ingredients by hand. I’m glad I used ground turkey meat instead of whole. I have yet to try out the juicer, hopefully it will work. So far, I am pleased with everything except the mixer. The machine without the mixer is not worth what I paid for it. I also upgraded the motor when I ordered it, so I guess, from what I’ve read so far, the upgrade does not help with performance.
I too was riveted by the Bullet Express…AKA 8 minute piece of crap. I used it for juice…fine. I bought all the damn ingredients for pizza and 10 minutes later…my machine is smoking and no longer works. NOT HAPPY.
you can get the bullet express at Bed bath and beyond with the 20% off with a coupon they send out, also if you don;t like it, keep your recipet for your money back, save on S&H and no problem with returns and S&H back

I too was obsessed with this informercial as I have the Magic Bullet Express and love it. I’ve had it for years and use it on a regular basis for smoothies, salsa, guacamole, pesto, etc. My husband bought me the Bullet Express at Khols last month and I was disappointed. I felt it was too complicated…too many pieces, and I HATED the way everything shot out everywhere. You need to hold the bowl right under the unit. And the food processor was not suitable for smaller portions…it’s a little too big. Anyway, I was using it yesterday and removing the lid of the processor is difficult…I broke it (one of the pieces on the side that needs to be clamped down). Needless to say, I returned it today. I’m so glad he didn’t order it from the company! No shipping/handling charges and we got ALL our money back. So I bought the Cuisinart Smart power duet. It’s a blender/food processor. The food processor is a little small, but it will be plenty for what I need and it has the same attachments as the Express…only it doesn’t shoot all over the place and a bit smaller.
So excited, bougt myself a birthday present. Took it out of the box, washed it all and ready to go. Tried to make the cookies from the book, and the motor smoked before I could even add the second scoop of flour. On hold now for 1 hour. NOT REALLY pleased right now.
When the bullet fist came out I bought 4 of them for my family and I. Now I bought the bullet express. I used it for juicing tonight for the first time, it was great, I made the bulletboast. I could not put it down until it was finsihed. I would like to buy 3 more for christmas presents for my family. what kind of discount can I get. My magic bullet is something I cannot do without. I have to use the bullet express somemore and then I’ll let you know further.
Buy this from Bed Bath and Beyond and use your 20% off coupon! you get ALL The attachments and you wont have to worry about being charged. its only 95$ at bed bath and beyond!
I love the bullet express! I have it! I will only overheat if you leave it on for like 5 minutes straight- and only a dumb person would do that. ANY processor/food maker you will buy will do the same thing. Just be careful with it and use common sense! I will give it a 5 star
Try making a meatloaf… then re-rate it. Mine burned up after only TEN 1 to 1-1/2 second pulses… a maximum of 15 seconds total… no where near the 5 minutes you speak of.
Good luck 5 star.
JC
Who would put meat in a mixer anyway? Thats kind of nasty. Anyway, I wonder why the motor overheats only with the meal mixer attachment. It won’t with the others.
I HAVE BEEN DESPERATELY WANTING A BULLETT EXPRESS!I spend many mornings watching the infomercial over & over & over again! But after reading the horrible reviews about the customer service it makes me change my mind! I would
I tried to call and order the Bullet express but the people on the 1877 number seemed very weird as id they were READING a book to you!I thought it was a robot and then the lady scared me when she started to communicate with me…she sounded very rehearesed. I alsed the company WHY the machine over heats and they laughed and said WTF!! I have never heard of that and its a lie!
Ive owned my magic bullet for atleast 2 years, and ive never had any problems with it, though it took a little trial and error to get the chopping method down right (hold it down too long and youll end up with mush} Its always made smoothies fine for me, my husband enjoys his blended banana mochas, and always asks for them.
Im glad I read the reviews for the bullet express, you people are saving me some heart ache with this purchase.
I purchased the bullet express in early November 09. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. It is substantially larger than it appears and takes up well more space than a standard toaster. The first day I made salsa; I did have to chop the tomatoes and peppers into quarters to fit them into the mealmaker attachment. (There goes 8 minutes right there.) It worked…okay, I wouldn’t say the salsa came out well mixed; lump at best. Next I tried the meatloaf recipe using small pieces of tomatoe, 1/4lb grounnd beef, few cloves of garlic and diced pieces of peppers. By the fifth pulse this grey smoke curled out the side and I smelled plastic. I instantly tried calling them, no answer. I e-mailed them and received an autoreply that stated I would have an answer in 5 to 7 days. In 5 days I tried calling, no answer. Fedup, I located the parent company Homeland Housewares, which does in fact product both the Magic Bullet and Bullet Express. (They have hidden the link well, but they do lead back to the same LLC.) I called the direct line in Los Angeles and tried the automated directory. The customer service rep name from the autoreply e-mail was not in the directory, the president and vice-president were not listed either. I finally started dialing extensions and left the same message for 4 random people. The following business day this woman left me three seperate messages to call her for assistance, but everytime I tried to call back I could not reach her. Subsequently I received e-mail responses from the company explaining how to return and that I should buy a traceable shipping package and insurance; the don’t refund that nore the original shipping. Between the cookbook, warrantee, machine, original shipping and return shipping my total spent would accumulate to about $304. My refund would total maybe around $90. I refuse to be out $200 for being unsatisfied with this machine. I have since filed a complaint with my credit card company; as soon as I have my refund I intend to ship the package back COD. I will not be charged for the fact that they have manufactured and marketed a faulty product.
I bought from Costco the Bullet Express. It took alot of work to keep things moving towards blade. They say to do the shake down method, I thought the machine was supposed to be working, not me! I felt the “seconds” quotes were ridiculous. Every processor I have bought had something about it that was frustrating, from bowl too big, to bowl too small, to un-uniform slicing. Also, not alot of options for slicing thicknesses, etc. I am considering the Cuisinart Elite which solves those problems. Any one tried it?
I have not tried the Cuiinart, but I have heard that it is top of the line. A lot of my friends laughed at me when I bought the bullet express. (They’re laughing even more now because they turned out fried.) A few of my buddies went to cullinary school and swear by the age old techniques of slicing and dicing by hand. But they did say that for those of us that are novices out there, Cuisinart and some of the other common kitchen appliance brands like black & decker and the usual names are much better and perform for those of us that don’t want to spend the time doing so. Cuisinart makes a lot of the other common things such as mixers, rice cookers and other convenience kitchen items. Someone told me that GE (General Electric has some good devices worth checking out. I haven’t looked into the other brands yet; I’m still working on getting my monney back from the bullet.
I have a wonderful Cuisinart 2 in 1 which has a blender attachment and a food processor (albeit a small one, but has been ENOUGH for processing stuff for my family). I also have a Kitchen Aid Professional stand mixer.
Just received this Bullet Express from a well meaning and enthusiastic family member and jsut by looking at the pieces, it’s crap compared to what I already own (the only thing it has that I don’t currently have is a juicer but I’ve never had dreams of juicing anything…)
He ordered it through TV so now I’ve gotta find a way to get rid of it without him knowing or inquiring about it in the future. he’s very excited about it because he purchased 2 – one for him, one for us – and he loves his. Practically gave an infomercial quality demonstration for me.
I tried to act excited and all I could think was I don’t have room for this in my kitchen OR my storage room and I already have superior products in my kitchen that serve me very well!
URGENT! I am reading these glowing reports about this Bullet Express, and when I ordered the 2 I wanted to give my two grown children no ONE offered me a free second one! I’m paying a total of over $400 plus shipping and handling and I would like to know why I got screwed into buying two at the same price. I watched the same infomercial everyone else did. I called and the person on the other line never offered me “buy one get one free”….I’m on a fixed income and I want to know why I wasn’t given this option. I did get 1/2 off the shipping of the second bullet express, but they were coming to the same address! I want this to reach the CEO and I want to get an explanation as to why I’m paying such a huge amount!! I’m going to return them if I have to pay full price for both of the same thing when others got a free one for buying one! I expect to hear back asap………Christmas is almost here!!!!!
I’d recommend calling the better business bureau or states attorney for your home state. I’ve been trying to contact the company over two weeks about my issues with the single item I bought ($204 after tax, shipping and handling)and have yet to get a response. When I’ve tried to contact them I’ve been given return numbers for a “Laura” with no last name or extension at multiple return telephone numbers.
I am considering buying a bullet express. Though I am worried that it might brake down I will try it but will definatly purchase it at bed bath n beyond. I will post n let everyone know how it works. thanks alot for sharing your reviews with me.
I too have been riveted to this informerical. I have a vitamix, a blender, a cuisinart, and the Magic Bullet (which I love). FYI, Costco sells the Bullet Xpress for 99.00 USD and they will take ANYTHING back with or without receipt, All I have to do now is sneak one into the house without husband catching on. The slicing feature is most intriguing. BTW, I forgot to mention that I also own La Mandoline.
I bought the bullet express for my husband and it’s been great. We also have the Magic Bullet which we use on a regular basis as well. The machine has safety features in it that stop it from working unless every piece is attached exactly right – which is great. It cleans up so nicely as well. We’ve made apple pie, hashbrowns, bread crumbs, etc and no problems. We bought it at Canadian Tire (saved on the S&H). It’s too bad that some have had difficulties with it. We love ours!
I bought the Bullet Express from Costco as a Christmas gift for my mother who saw the infomercial and just had to have it. With her first time use, she said it made a mess of the carrots she was trying to chop and then the motor burned out while she was trying to grind some pork. Fortunately, Costco’s got an awesome return policy, so I got a full refund. I’m considering re-purchasing just to see for myself if it works (maybe mom didn’t have it set up properly?) or if it burns out right away as well. Also shopping around for a new food processor for mom who doesn’t want anything to do with the Bullet Express now.
I think the magic bullet express is one of the best products out… It does everything so quickly and easily… I especially love the juicer…You wouldn’t believe how delicious freshly squeezed oranges mixed with freshly squeezed carrots taste…Maybe the reason aome people have problems with it burning out is because they are running it for too long…It says right in the manual that it should not be used for more than 3 minutes consecutively or the motor will burn out… No complaints here….Love it…
meem…..if you want to get rid of it, i’d be willing to take it off your hands. email me at . thanks. angelica
vivo en republica dominicana y quiciera saber donde puedo conceguirlo aqui y cuanto me cuesta el bullet express.grasias
I just got it today. It does not work!. It could not do a simple recipe. We followed the directions for the meat loaf. It was incapable of processing it at all. Then it smoked and froze.. that’s all she wrote. Too bad we didn’t get to juice first! I bought a bunch of fruits and veggies! So this was the worse $188.96 I have ever spent. They have a money back guarantee.. Less shipping and handling.. that’s not acceptable! I didn’t even get to use it once!

I read through all the reviews available on Bullet Express (which is not many) and still decided to buy it. I like it so far. I opened it and didn’t even wash it ( because I just wanted to see how it works and return it in case it didn’t work). So I had cucumbers and pears at hand.I tried slicing a cucumber in it and it did a very good job. I asked my husband if he would hold a bowl right under the snout because I read that carrots were flying, but he wanted me to try it by myself with the bowl on the table. Nothing was flying… All the cucumbers went straight into the bowl. I tried the juicer. It did a very good job as well. I got a whole cup of juice from 2 pears. And i liked that all the parts already came pre-assembled. And yesterday I made the cheesecake from their recipe book. It was pretty simple, but obviously it took me more than 6 seconds to make it. First of all, I had to start and stop the Bullet to make the graham crackers into crumbs. I didn’t want to go over 15 seconds at a time (that’s what the manual says). So it took me about 2 minutes to do that. Then I had to wash the mixer out and then put the cream cheese and all the other ingredients in. Again, I used Pulse, High, Low– all of the 3 buttons to try and see which one was better. Again, for not more than 15 seconds at a time. The Bullet did a pretty good job, but again, it took me longer than the recipe book claims it should. And when I was done, but wanted to run it one more time to make the cream smoother, the machine shut down on me. So I figured the motor got overheated and let it stand there for 15 min. Then I turned it on again and it worked.
So, my conclusion is:
It works, but not as fast as they claim it should
You can’t use it for a long time because the motor overheats and then you have to wait till it cools off and then it will work again.
If you have all the gadgets at home, like blender, juicer, food processor, etc. then you probably won’t like it
I like it because I don’t have any of those and have nothing to compare to:) But it works and it is really not that hard to use if you read the instructions the first time. And also, I think you have to get used to it and know when it is going to overheat and things like that.
And I bought it from Costco. It is cheaper there and I didn’t have to pay the S&H fee. And you can return pretty much anything to Costco:)
Good luck with it!
I have to say I am not impressed with the bullet express. I went to Canadian Tire they had it on sale came home wanted to make the pizza dough well it started smoking I didn’t even get to finish making the dough it ended up in the garbage. I will be returning it. They make it look so good on t.v. My friend was thinking of getting on too I informed her not to waste her money
I recently bought a Bullett Express from Bed, Bath & Beyond, took it home and tried to make the turkey meatloaf. Once the meat was added the motor started smoking so I took it back to the store and they were good at refunding my money. It is definitely not powerful enough so don’t waste your money.
The Bullet Express needs to be shot. I’m taking mine back today!
It is supposed to be 3 machines in one. So lets break it down and talk about “each” of the machines.
Meal Maker (that means slicing and shredding)
Pros: Easy and quick to use. It’s pretty cool that you can shoot it straight into the bowl or pot.
Cons: Only 90% makes it into the pot. 7% ends up on the counter or floor. The other 3% stays in the machine. You have to take it apart to get more out (notice that I didn’t say everything out).
Meal Mixer (food processor)
Pros: The food processor exists
Cons: The first time I tried to puree potatoes it over heated and cut off. I served chunky puree that night. A week later I pureed 3 plantains. That was successful. But come on, this thing is not powerful enough for boiled potatoes?
Juicer:
To tell you the truth, after the experience with the first two “machine capabilities” I realized that I don’t want to waste my money juicing in the thing.
Conclusion
Great commercial, but doesn’t deliver. In the commercial they made meal after meal after meal. They must have switched the machine every time because in the manual says that you should not use it more that 3 minutes consecutively. If you do it will over heat. After it over heats you must unplug it for at least an hour. That’s ridiculous!
Its a rip off.
As you all know, I am the psychic Sylvia Browne. In my life, I had good observations with the kitchen appliances that I cook with. I don’t need reviews to tell me if an appliance electronic is good or not- I am psychic. Before I got the Bullet Express (which I own now), I had a vision that the machine was smoking and electric sparks flew out of it as I made a new york style cheesecake! Francine told me that the bullet express was a bad appliance! But I got it anyway, because it looked so easy and fun on the informercial. When I got it, the machine did exactly what it did in my vision. I still have it. But I will return it within 5 days.
Thank you,
Sylvia C. Browne
Ok, were to begin? I bought this machine and it worked great until the tin around the juicer bent. I excanged it for a new one and then ALL the reviews I had read about became to make sense. It smelled like plastic , it smelled like burnt rubber. It makes juice in 5 secinds and takes 30 minutes, lots of papertowels, saop, water, to clean up the HUGE mess ! Abd lets not forget 1/2 the food ends up on the floor !
VERY LOW ,LOW QUALITY product, cheap and junky!
The actors in the commercial should be so embarrased, they are not being honest! I think I saw a peice of totamo stuck on Miimiis shoe . And I think I saw a pepper in the mans hair when he said 1-2-3 and he turned it on, it flew on his hair!
the bullet express is made of plastic and smells like it too!
the carrots fly around the house , and the food looks like you serve it at the zoo,
motor burns out while you say 1-2-3
and then you lok under your shoe,
just make certain to keep your receipt, and buy it from a store
i hope you can return it and you wont go back for more.
bullet express is hunk of junk! Caution ~!
I bought it anyway. As I am qualified with electrics, I can always replace the shitty motor with better one, or just add cooling to it. The concept is avesome.
Ok. So, I own a catering company. I needed something to cut down on the prep time of meals. I came upon the infomercial and I figured I’d try it and if I didn’t like it, I’d send it back. That was in August 2009. I still have my bullet express. Here is my review.
1. The juicer is the best feature.
2. The slicer/grater work great…although, food does tend to go everywhere unless someone holds the bowl right up to the opening. Might I suggest using a pitcher instead of a bowl to catch the dispensing food. It’s taller and comes up to the spout.
3. The blender/mixer. Hmmmmmmmm. Well lets just say it doesn’t work as well as I hoped but it still cuts my time by at least half. I had a problem with the doughy products not mixing thoroughly. It gets under the blade and stays there. You have to take the lid off a couple of times during processing to stir.
So, overall opinion, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. It’s easy to use, it’s fast and really has done what it was supposed to just maybe not quite as well. But do things on infomercials ever? That’s what TV editing is for.
Thank god I read all these reviews. I am in Australia and saw the commercial in Danozdirect. I was very impressed and told my wiofe that we should get one. But I was thinking how can a 400W motor be powerfull. We have Braun blender / Mixer and it is 1500W. This needs something like 1500 to 2000W. I am not buying anymore.
The motor is definitely not strong enough, right after i burned my motor out after making pizza dough, i called bullet express and they said it wont work for 4 hours after it happened, as a safety feature. Apparently in the cookbooks they sell or supply, it leaves out steps that you need to do to do to your processor before you use it for heavy duty food prepping. all their updated recipes on their website has the proper instructions so that you dont burn your motor out. If you did burn your motor out like me, give it a day and it will work again…for me, it took 2 days ;P good luck folks…
A local store has it on sale for $99.00. I loved the infomerical and already own a mixer that is great for making dough. I want it basically for the slicing or shredding of vegetables and fruits and for the juicer. Even though many of the reviews say to stay away from it, I’m tempted to buy it with cash so that I can return it should it stop working.
Are there 2 versions, one with 400 watt motor and another with a 500 watt motor?
Does anyone know if Costco in Canada sells it?
I bought the Bullet Express and followed their turkey meat loaf recipe exactly as shown in their video. The machine motor died as it was cutting/processing all the ingredients together. The burning smell was appalling and it stayed all over the house for almost an hour. I had to open all the windows. I returned the Bullet Express and I explained to them what had happened. I am very disappointed with this item.
Hi everyone,
this is my review of the Bullet Express. Now I did not see the TV add., but was shown
one at my local Costco. So I got two to test, I work in management at a large department store. The tests that we ran on the bullet express showed that:
1):read the manual first and make sure everything is set up and fitted before use.
2) always place a small amount of water, milk etc in the blender before mixing.
do not over fill this will cause the motor to over heat and shut down or burn out.
3)When slicing food, use a pitcher that is tall enough to catch the food when it
comes out. Use a large bowl also but place it under the spout about 3 inches.
4) Yes: You can only run it for 3 minutes at a time so the motor can cool down.
I have been told by a company Rep that a second generation bullet express is
due out in the next three months with a larger motor and better fitting parts.
5)O YES! buy it from a retail store. That way you should get the new ones
when they come out. Not on line because they are with the deal the have are
clearing out the older model to make room for the new one. The new ones
will be in the stores not on line until Christmas. So go to your retail first and check the specs on the box and keep your paper work just in case you have to return
it.
I did the same thing — got it home, started to make the meatloaf. I even pulsed it and let it rest. Mid-way through the motor completely died and I had to break out my small food processor to finish the job. I emailed the company for instructions how to return the item and it’s going in the mail tomorrow. Totally NOT worth the money.
I REALLY want the Bullet Express! But I’m not so sure. Your comments make me nervous about buying it but I would REALLY LOVE to try it out! Anyways I thought I should put that out there. =)
If you can remember to freeze for 15 minutes, butter, cheese, lard, or shortening before using it in the magic bullet, it will work like it says. Remember above all read the booklet that explains usage before using so you know what do do.!

I just bought one, and got smocky when I started to use the mixer. it is the worst thing I ever bought almost 250$ going to the drain. I will never buy from these TV commercials any more.
i want to buy it but i live in cyprus
from what link can i order it???
i will never buy abything from danoz direct again, bunch of rip off assholes, their products suck, cheap chinese shit, keep you money and spend elsewhere ,danoz, bunch of fuckers
I like my bullet express, although, I did have some issues but the customer service was excellent.
The concept of the machine is wonderful, I think. However, it needed to be re-designed so the clasps would not break like mine did, 3 times. However, I am a great believer in warranties and had the issue dealt with excellent customer service.
However, since my last breakage with them, I found out, they have re-designed the unit not being compatible with the old system so I must return my unit and they will send me a new one. Being in Canada, I wonder about the cost/duty or is it cheaper for me to buy a new one with the new design.
I have not had any issues with the unit overheating.
I used it to make meatloaf and love how it ground up the meat, nice & even.
I used it frequently with the exception of the juicer part.
The Bullet Express is CRAP! Every problem mentioned above is true and as for any pros…doesn’t have any. Tried contacting Danoz Direct several times but still have had no reply, nor a refund for the faulty item. To add insult to injury it cost me almost $100.00 to return the thing. DON”T touch it….you’ll be sorry! I am, and I will never buy anything from Danoz ever again!
I’ve had mine for just over a year, and only used it a few times. The idea was great but it has so many pieces and is quite big. After you factor in the clean up its just a quick and easy to chop everything yourself. But the times I used it, it did work except the shredding attachment would spew cheese or veggies all over the counter and floor. Doesn’t work like in the infomercial. And yesterday when I did use it, it started smoking. Needless to say I’m going to try and return it from the store it was purchased from. Buy yourself a vitamix, it will do basically everthing the magic bullet meal maker does and it actually works.
I just bought the bullet express trio with all the attachments. But the manual and cook book was in french only. No other in the box. No translation on the other side or the back etc. I can’t read french! I’m very disappointed
Ya right are you bleeping crazy, I am not going to pay $54.99 plus theS&H cost of $19.99 for a hunk of plastic.
I guess I will just spread the word to everybody I know that your products are junk and are brittle plastic that break when you try to close it.
Thanks for nothing!

Awww that sucks… glad I came here though and saw this. I was borrowing my sister’s Bullet Express and one of the safety clamps broke. Not sure what to do now, I’d hate to have to pay that much for something so small breaking!
Hi, I know there are many satisfied users of the bullet express. A friend of mine who is moving out of the country just gave me the machine but it came without the cookbook. Does anyone have an electronic copy they can send me to be able to use it. Thank you for all your help, can’t wait to start!!
I can’t find out where the blades go as I LOST THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Mine did the same thing and it was only on for maybe a minute at the most, not even. And the meatloaf recipe is one of theirs so you would expect to be able to make it without the machine smoking. I love my magic bullet, but this machine was a disappointment. Glad yours works so well though Lisa.
By not buying one you’re making the right choice. Mine always worked until yesterday and I’ve only had it for just over a year. Plus I didn’t use it allot. Save your money. Buy yourself a Vitamix blender now thats an amazing kitchen appliance.
I have a Vitamix blender, its absolutely the best kitchen appliance out there. You can make anything with it. Bread, smoothies, juice even hot soup. Its expensive but so worth it. Its easily 1000 x better then the bullet express, which I also own and will throw away if I can’t return it.
well all i make is smoothies in mine and yes it started smoking today i haven’t even had it a year and barely use it…mad mad mad!
